RMATS

Thank you for giving Walt Medak & Associates, Inc. the consideration and opportunity of supporting you with our RMATS services. We support the entire line of Avaya® PBX systems, current (AVAYA® Communication Manager/Definity®) and vintage (e.g. System75® and G1®) as well as AUDIX®. We can also assist you in administering Avaya® Key and Hybrid systems (e.g. Merlin® and Partner®) as well as Merlin® and Partner® voicemail systems.

Our on-line technical assistance is $150.00 per hour, billed in fifteen minute increments with a half an hour minimum.

Our RMATS department prioritizes requests, makes appointments for reserved time commitments, gathers information for questions you might have, returns calls and responds to your requests as soon as possible. If a technician is not already on a call, or your call is of an urgent nature, we will do all that we can to assist you at the time you call. When you call in, we will be asking for information to assist us in getting records together for the technician.

When you choose to have your Avaya® PBX system go onto our RMATS monitoring service, we program and test the switch to call one of our RMATS facility computers with switch alarms. When an alarm is received, WMA's computer logs the switch and the type of alarm and terminates the call automatically. The computer generates an audible alert to get the attention of our RMATS personnel and it then sends alarm information along with the INADS and contact number to two WMA technicians' pagers. WMA technicians are on call 24 hours a day. They have portable computers with modems and cellular telephones to enable them to respond to the pager notifying them of a switch's alarm.

WMA's technicians can then dial into the switch to evaluate the extent of the problem, do testing to clear the alarm, if possible, and then advise you of the alarm.
